The Mix Result page shows up to 15 mix solutions for the selected colour. The selected colour is shown at the bottom left of each mix solution and is labelled as Target.
Each mix is split into 2 columns:
The 1st column lists the paints required with an indication of the proportions to use.
These proportions are only suggestions, you may in fact need more or less of each colour, depending on the density of pigment in your particular paint.
The 2nd column shows the colour you are aiming for as each paint is added to the mix. You should try to match this colour at each step of the mix. Thinning the paint or adding white when necessary.

Using the example shown in figure 1 above:
Put some Permanent Rose on the palette board and adjust the tint (by adding White or thinning the paint) to match the tint in column 2 of this row.
Add a little Emerald Green until you get a result that matches the colour for this row in column 2 . Again, you may want to thin the paint or add a little white to adjust the tint.
Having matched the mix result for the Emerald Green row, add the Cadmium Yellow, a little at a time, adjusting the tint as necessary until you match the final mix result.

Sometimes you may not be able to satisfactorily mix the required colour using the colours defined in the mix solution. In this case there may be a discrepancy with the colour definitions in the Palette Composer's Palette and your paints. You may need to make a minor adjustment to the mix using another colour. Alternatively, you can import your own colours into your own catalogues by using the 'Import Colours from Image' action available from the View Palette screen.
The Palette Composer searches for the best mix solutions using only the colours in your palette. If you find the result shown on the bottom right doesn't match closely enough the target colour shown on the bottom left, you may need to get more colours. To help you identify some paints you should consider purchasing, try the 'Mix from Catalogue' menu action. This action will attempt to mix the target colour using all the colours in the Catalogue.
If you have run out of a particular colour, you can touch the colour in column 1 and the Palette Colour dialog will open. The dialog includes a button to remove the colour from the Palette. The mix result is automatically updated with alternative mixes when a colour is removed from the palette.

There are up to 4 buttons at the bottom right hand side of the Mix Result screen:
The Colour Select button opens a draggable dialog containing the colour selection grid from the main screen, enabling the user to select another colour to mix from the same region of the image.
The Add to List button opens a dialog where the user is able to give the target colour a name and add it to the Saved Colour list from where it can be mixed again. The Saved Colour list is accessible from the main picture screen action menu.
The Modify button opens a dialog where the user is able to make some adjustment to the Hue, Saturation and Brightness of the target colour. When the user completes the dialog the Mix Result page is updated with mix solutions for the modified colour.
The Add button opens a dialog where the user can add the currently displayed mix solution to the palette, enabling it to be used for mixing other colours.
